Dyslexia Screening
A Dyslexia Screener is a short assessment for children and young people aged 5-16.
It takes around an hour and a half, sometimes less, and includes a range of assessment tasks which explore reading, writing and spelling skills as well as some aspects of cognitive processing, e.g. phonological awareness and memory.
The purpose of a dyslexia screener is to identify students who are experiencing difficulties known to be associated with dyslexia. Although a good starting point, it is important to note a screener is not a full diagnostic assessment and cannot diagnose dyslexia.
Following the screening, a short confidential report outlining the results and key recommendations for support will be compiled and sent within 10 working days.
The Screener costs £100 and is completed 1:1 alongside me.
